One year ago my wife and I embarked on a wonderful adventure - a move from beautiful British Columbia Canada to a warm and sunny place: Melbourne Australia!

We had been photographing weddings in Vancouver for 10 years. We had built a successful business we were very proud of, but when we decided to move, we decided to put aside our wedding photography and pursue new adventures.

This is the birth of The Barefoot Photographer. For years I have longed to explore more time consuming and creative work, and now is the time. I specialize in portraiture, but am open to any adventure - the more interesting and the more challenging the better.

Why barefoot? I find all shoes uncomfortable and so I can most often be found barefoot. Bare feet also symbolize creativity, connectedness, comfort, and a relaxed atmosphere. All of these are things that I can identify with. My bare feet have become my trademark.
